Madiun City – The Traffic Unit (Satlantas) of the Madiun City Police again held the *Satlantas Menyala* activity on Thursday, January 15, 2026. This activity is a form of excellent police service to the public, especially in the field of traffic.
During the event, Traffic Police officers personally handed out driver's licenses (SIM) to applicants who met the requirements. Beyond just handing over the SIMs, officers also provided guidance and education to the public on the importance of complete administrative documentation for driving on the highway.
Head of Traffic Police of Madiun City Police, *AKP Nanang Cahyono, S.Pd*, said that the Traffic Police Lights activity aims to bring the Police closer to the community while increasing awareness of traffic order.
"Through this Satlantas Menyala activity, we want to remind the public that administrative documents such as driving licenses and vehicle registrations are not only legal requirements, but also for the safety and comfort of all while driving," said AKP Nanang Cahyono.
He added that complete driving administration reflects driver discipline and helps create a safe, orderly, and smooth traffic situation in the Madiun City area.
The event took place in a friendly and humane manner. The public welcomed the Madiun City Police Traffic Unit's initiative, which not only provided services but also direct education.
With the Satlantas Menyala activity, it is hoped that public awareness of the importance of orderly traffic will increase, so that it can reduce the number of traffic violations and accidents in Madiun City.
